In support of the recent terrorists attacks that occurred in Paris, France last week—in which 12 staff members of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, and four more people were killed in a related hostage situation just a day later—many marched in support of France in D.C. this weekend.

Yesterday, hundreds gathered at the Newseum and marched to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. It was part of the Unity Rally—a worldwide rally in support of the victims of the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attacks. Among the hundreds who participated in Sunday’s march was Gerad Araud, the French Ambassador in the U.S.
