As part of a demonstration urging President Barack Obama to abandon plans for $1 trillion overhaul of the United States’ nuclear arsenal, a activists with the Global Zero movement will deploy a 48 foot inflatable missile behind the White House this weekend.

Recently, Obama’s administration announced a $1 trillion investment over the next 30 years in nuclear weapons, which, as one can imagine, didn’t sit well with a lot of activists. As a result the Global Zero movement, an activist movement to end nuclear warfare, announced a nationwide tour in protest.

At each city they visit, they’ll deploy “a life-size, four-story inflated nuclear missile.” The tour hits the White House on Saturday, where a rally is planned on the Southwest quadrant of the Ellipse from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“Six year ago, President Obama said he would seek ‘the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons,’ but now he is doubling down on them,” Global Zero co-founder Matt Brown said in a statement. “This massive $1 trillion upgrade will lock us into a nuclear weapons future for generations. With two years left in office, President Obama needs to get back on track—setting the course to zero nuclear weapons worldwide needs to be a top priority.”
