Look, the Metro is frequently a mess. Especially during the winter months—and especially this winter because of the especially cold temperatures. But today was especially hectic for the Red Line. Due to a series of issues—a disabled train at Chinatown and a track problem at Metro Center—the Red Line was experiencing serious until, well, there’s still residual delays.
Red Line: Expect residual delays to Glenmont due to an earlier train malfunction at Gallery Place-Chinatown.

The good news is that the situation has been resolved and all should be normal for this evening’s commute. The bad news is there’s been problems for Metro all week, so chances of a repeat tomorrow are good. Don’t worry, things will be better in future times.
