A woman was shot and a man was severely beaten while riding a Metrobus in Southeast D.C., police say.

The incident occurred on a 92 bus along the 2200 block of Good Hope Road SE at approximately 3:35 p.m., according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Both individuals suffered non-life-threatening injuries and police say the “situation is currently stable at the scene”

Police are currently investigating the situation to piece together what exactly happened. No arrests have been made yet.
