A gas station employee suffered a non-life threatening head wound during a robbery attempt in Silver Spring this morning, Montgomery County police said. Police locked down nearby Montgomery Blair High School while police searched the building; they lifted the restrictions around 10 a.m.
The suspect has been described as a White or Hispanic male, 5’8″-5’9″, wearing a black jacket and pants, and carrying a black handgun. Police said it appears that the suspect struck the victim on the head with the gun, and there is no evidence that he was shot.
