D.C. police have identified the body found in the Tidal Basin a couple of weeks ago.

The body of 70-year-old Fuzz Woody Short Fuzzy of Northwest D.C. was recovered in the water at the 1300 block of Maine Avenue SW on April 11. Members of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a body located in the water and, when arrived to recover the body, did not find any signs consistent with life.
