Metro has suspended rail service on the Blue, Orange, and Silver Lines this morning due to “fire department activity.”

The Post reports that the trouble started around 8:15 a.m. this morning when Arlington County Fire officials received a call for a report of smoke at the Rosslyn station from Metro. Multiple calls to Metro for more information went unanswered.
Trains were offloaded and Metro is replacing rail service with bus service between the Foggy Bottom and Arlington Cemetery stations and between the Foggy Bottom and Clarendon stations.
