A man in a wheelchair fell onto the tracks this afternoon at the Fort Totten Metro station. He is being treated for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries, Metro Transit Police said.

The man told witnesses that he was dizzy before falling off the platform. Police said he was conscious and breathing after the drop.

Trains in the area were single tracking after the incident. They have returned to operating on both tracks, but residual delays remain.

Green Line: No longer single tracking. Residual delays continue in both directions due to earlier track obstruction at Fort Totten.
