Authorities are investigating a body that was found burning in a trash can in the Trinidad neighborhood of Northeast D.C.

A Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson tells DCist that the body was found at approximately 5:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of Holbrook Terrace NE.
