The commute on the Yellow, Blue and Green lines has been hellish this afternoon.
There was a track problem—that has since been fixed—between the Braddock Road and Reagan National Airport stations, Metro says.
As of 4 p.m., Metrorail Operations Control Center said there were delays up to 45 minutes, and they warned that even though the problem had been fixed there would still be residual delays.
Blue and Yellow line trains were sharing service between Reagan National Airport and Braddock Road until the problem was fixed. Thanks to Yellow Line delays, Metro warned of delays on the southbound Green Line around L’Enfant Plaza.
It did look ugly out there, and riders were confused:
