If you’re traveling on the Green Line this weekend, lucky you, because the Red, Blue, Yellow and Orange Lines are single tracking. Plus, the Silver Line is running slower than usual. Delays begin at 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue through closing on Sunday.

Green Line

Regular weekend service

Red Line

Trains every 18 minutes
Single tracking between Dupont Circle & Van Ness to allow for rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal.

Orange Line

Trains every 20 minutes
Single tracking between Cheverly & New Carrollton to allow for emergency call box, rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal.

Silver Line

Trains every 20 minutes
Silver Line trains will operate every 20 minutes throughout the weekend to coordinate with work on the Orange & Blue lines.

Blue Line

Trains every 20 minutes
Single tracking between Braddock Road & Van Dorn Street to allow for grout pad, rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal.

Yellow Line

Trains every 20 minutes Huntington to Mt. Vernon Sq only
Single tracking between Braddock Road & Huntington to allow for grout pad, rail tie, fastener and insulator renewal. All trains will operate to/from Mt Vernon Sq rather than Fort Totten. Customers traveling to/from stations north of Mt. Vernon Sq should use a Green Line train to complete their trip.
