If you somehow haven’t noticed, today’s weather is unusually warm for November. So warm, in fact, we’ve passed the November 6 record high in D.C. of 78 degrees from 1948, according to the Capital Weather Gang.

At 3:00 p.m. the temperature hit 80 (and feels like 82). Go global warming?!

Before today, only 21 November days have hit 80 since 1871. The last time was in 2003, according to CWG.

This weekend, temperatures are expected to fall back to normal for this time of year—around the mid-60’s with a 50 percent chance of showers. So enjoy your patios and rooftop bars while you can.
