An official adorable panda update: 2-month-old Bei Bei took his first steps on Monday at the National Zoo.
He’ll soon start wandering around—and leaving the den—on his own, the Zoo said.
Bei Bei was born August 2, the surviving cub of a set of twins, and he is following in the footsteps of his sister, Bao Bao. His name was announced by Michelle Obama and China’s first lady Madame Peng Liyuan in September, ahead of the traditional 100 day period.
