Momofuku CCDC announced today that they have begun serving weekday lunch between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Limited reservations can be made online (you’ll need to create an account) and walk-ins are “strongly encouraged.”
Astute diners should also take note that the lunch menu does differ from what is offered during dinner service. The evening menu’s “snacks,” “etc.,” “meat & fish,” and “vegetables” categories have all been removed from lunch service, as well as the kimchi apple salad from the “salads” section. Perhaps in partial compensation, lunch diners will be able to order two dishes that aren’t available at dinner time: slow roasted pork shoulder with sweet sesame glaze, pickles, and rice ($13) and vegetable fritters with pickles, ginger scallion, and rice ($13). Desserts are by Momofuku’s line-inducing sister bakery, Milk Bar.
