This weekend, Metro riders traveling via the Blue, Orange, Silver, and Red Lines will experience delays beginning Friday. Free shuttle buses will replace Orange, Silver and Blue line trains between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly and Benning Road, as Minnesota Avenue and Deanwood stations will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Green Line

Regular weekend service between Huntington and Fort Totten | 10 p.m Friday until closing Sunday
Red Line
Trains every 13-26 minutes
Single tracking in two zones to allow for rail renewal, joint elimination and communication cable installation.Between Van Ness and Friendship Heights | 10:00 p.m. Friday until Closing Sunday. Between Silver Spring and Glenmont | 12:01 a.m. Saturday until Closing Sunday. Red Line trains will operate:
Between Shady Grove and Glenmont every 26 minutes Between Farragut North and Silver Spring every 13 minutes from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. only
Orange Line
Between Vienna and Stadium-Armory: trains every 15 minutes Between Cheverly and New Carrollton: trains every 16 minutes From 12:01 a.m. Saturday through closing Sunday, buses will replace Orange Line trains between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly. During this time, Minnesota Ave and Deanwood stations will be closed.
Free shuttle buses will operate on two routes:
Orange Express buses will operate between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly stations with no intermediate stops. Please add up to 20 minutes of travel time. Orange Local buses will operate between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly, making intermediate stops at Minnesota Ave and Deanwood. Please allow 12-15 minutes of travel time for each station stop. Last Train Times:
The last westbound train of the night from New Carrollton will depart 27 minutes earlier. On Friday and Saturday nights, the last Orange Line train will leave New Carrollton at 2:09 a.m. en route to Cheverly. The last westbound Orange Line train will depart Stadium-Armory at 2:53 a.m. On Sunday, the last train will leave New Carrollton at 11:09 p.m. and depart Stadium-Armory at 11:53 p.m. The last eastbound train of the night from Vienna will depart 3 minutes earlier. On Friday and Saturday nights, the last Orange Line train will depart Vienna at 2:23 a.m. On Sunday, the last train will leave Vienna at 11:23 p.m. Work Performed: Rail & fastener renewal and platform rehabilitation between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly stations.
Silver Line
Buses replace trains between Stadium-Armory & Benning Road | 12:01 a.m. until closing Sunday
Silver Line trains will operate as follows:
Between Franconia-Springfield and Stadium-Armory: trains every 15 minutes Between Benning Road and Largo Town Center (as Blue Line trains): trains every 15 minutes From 12:01 a.m. Saturday through closing Sunday, buses will replace Silver Line trains between Stadium-Armory and Benning Road.
Free shuttle buses will operate between Stadium-Armory and Benning Road. Please allow 10-12 minutes of travel time.
Last Train Times:
The last westbound train of the night from Stadium Armory will depart at the regular time. On Friday and Saturday nights, the last westbound Silver Line train will depart Stadium-Armory at 2:26 a.m. On Sunday, the last train will leave Stadium-Armory at 11:26 p.m. The last eastbound train of the night from Wiehle-Reston East will depart 1 minute early. On Friday and Saturday nights, the last Silver Line train will depart Wiehle-Reston East at 2:09 a.m. On Sunday, the last train will leave at 11:09 p.m.
Blue Line

On Friday and Saturday nights, the last Blue Line train will depart Franconia-Springfield at 2:29 a.m. On Sunday, the last train will leave at 11:29 p.m.
