D.C. officials have been very clear: by 3 p.m., you should be in the place where you expect to stay until Monday morning. In the meantime, though, here is the state of District ahead of an expected 2.5 feet of snow. Shelves are bare, Bei Bei is having a ball, Edward Snowden is making dad jokes using a cover of Express, the March for Lifers are defiantly downtown, and teleworkers have found refuge in coffee shops.
My brother just sent me this photo of a #TraderJoes in DC that’s bare. #winteriscoming #snowmaggedon2016 pic.twitter.com/Px1Ve3psvj

The blizzard forecast hasn’t stopped the March for Life crowd. Hope everyone gets home early, though. pic.twitter.com/YkeOw4GBFa
