So much for that $1.3 million haul for the city. Despite giving plenty of warning to Washingtonians to make sure their cars weren’t parked on snow routes, the administration is feeling forgiving.

Mayor Muriel Bowser announced today that all 2,829 citations issued for parking on snow emergency routes on Friday will be voided. “This ticket dismissal is one small way that we can continue to help each other recover from the storm,” she said.

Those who have already paid the fine will receive a refund.
