Eat The Rich, an oyster bar in Shaw, is celebrating Star Wars with a week of festivities. Running from May 3-6, the restaurant’s staff will be featuring a Star Wars cocktail menu, “passing out schwag,” and dressing up as their favorite characters.

The idea was “driven by our staff,” according to a Facebook post.

Patrons who also dress in costume will get 10 percent off their meals. Plus, whenever the Mos Eisley Cantina theme song plays, Han Solo Cup shots are free for all.

The latest iteration of the outer-world franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, was a holiday blockbuster last year, directed by J. J. Abrams. Washingtonians stood in line for hours on opening day (others shelled out $250 to snag some of the first seats to the film at private screening in Gallery Place.)
