This Saturday, the 41st annual Capital Pride Parade is bringing award-winning actors, politicians, drag queens, dogs, and … road closures.

Beginning at 4:30 p.m., participants will march for 1.5 miles through the Dupont and Logan Circle neighborhoods. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the following roads will be closed from 1 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. to make way for the festivities.

  • 23rd St NW between N St and Q St,
  • 22nd St NW between N St and Q St,
  • N St NW between 21st St and 23rd St,
  • Newport St between 21st St and 22nd St,
  • St NW between 21st St and 22nd St,
  • Q St NW between 23rd St and Massachusetts Ave NW

Street closures and times are also subject to change, MPD adds.

While significantly hot temperatures rang in the 2015 parade, this year’s parade is seeing its own heat as an LGBTQ group calls on organizers to drop Wells Fargo as a festival sponsor.
