D.C. Fire and EMS have rescued a man from an “elevator pit” just outside of the Foggy Bottom Metro station.
The repairman suffered a “medical emergency while working in confined space,” according to FEMS. They are setting up a tripod hoist to get him out, saying “limited access” posed the biggest challenge.
