After an all-you-can-drink “rent party” this Monday, The Passenger pledged it would be open “soon.”
Now I remember why, so good to see everyone last night! PS we’ll be open SOON!

And the acclaimed cocktail bar meant it. It reopens in its new 7th Street digs tonight at 5 p.m., per its Twitter and Facebook.
The Passenger shuttered January 1, 2015, and afterwards hosted a number of pop-ups called “The Passenger in Exile” at other neighborhood watering holes. (In the meantime, The Columbia Room has reopened in its place to great acclaim.)
According to The Washington Post, The Passenger now boasts Green and Yellow Chartreuse on tap and will begin brunch service next weekend.
The Passenger is located at 1539 7th St. NW
