COCKTAIL CLASS: The Museum of the American Cocktail is holding its 5th Annual Holiday Cocktail Seminar at The Passenger (1021 7th Street NW) tonight. Local bartenders Philip Greene, Victoria Vergason, Chantal Tseng, Todd Thrasher, Adam Bernbach, Bryan Tetorakis and Arris Noble will share their knowledge and cocktail concoctions. Appetizers will be served and recipes of the cocktails you learn to create will be given out for you to take home. 6:30-8:30 p.m. $45 in advance, $50 at the door.

FILM: See Ai Weiwei’s film Fairytale, which “documents an artwork produced for Documenta 12 in which Ai invited 1,001 Chinese citizens of various ages and backgrounds to come to Kassel, Germany, during the exhibition and examine their dreams for the future” at the Hirshhorn (7th Street and Independence Avenue SW) tonight. 7:00 p.m. Free.
