A man was woken up Sunday morning in his Hill East home, sexually assaulted, and robbed, according to D.C. police.
The incident took place inside of the victim’s home in the 1200 block of Massachusetts Avenue SE. Around 6 a.m., the suspect sexually assaulted the victim at gunpoint before fleeing the Hill East home with some of the victim’s property, according to a release from the Metropolitan Police Department.
Officials are searching for a black male with a medium to dark complexion, around 5′ 8″ with a stocky build weighing about 200 pounds. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, a black T-shirt, and black shorts.
There were no signs of forced entry into the victim’s home, and police believe that he was intentionally targeted.
