It’s a hard truth to swallow, but we must face the facts: over 65 million people have been forced to flee their homes worldwide. Due to conflict, disease epidemics, food and economic insecurity, and natural disasters, these people’s homes are no longer safe places to live and their governments no longer provide them with protection.
In this free event you’ll learn more about the global refugee crisis and be taken on a guided tour through the exhibition by an experienced aid worker. See the challenges that the world’s displaced people face and how Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) delivers vital medical and humanitarian aid. The event will feature 360-degree video, virtual reality documentaries, and materials gathered from refugee camps, rescue missions, and emergency medical projects.
Spaces are limited, so register today for a free 45 minute tour of Forced From Home at the Washington Monument October 1-9.
