This week is filled with lots of debate watch parties, and lots of beer (because it’s DC Beer Week).

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE: You can’t avoid watching the debate tonight, even if you tried. Check out our picks for where to watch Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton face off.

HIDDEN TRUTHS: Comedian Adam Conover, the host of the truTV series Adam Ruins Everything, the series that aims to reveal the hidden truths about topics including food drives, the TSA, car dealerships, and the NFL Playoffs, comes to D.C. to reveal the truths about our democracy that I guess you can’t get from the debates. (9:30 Club) 7 p.m. $32.50

ALAN CUMMING: Actor, author, and activist, Alan Cummings joins All Things Considered‘s Ari Shapiro to discuss his newest book You Gotta Get Bigger Dreams: My Life is Stories and Pictures. PERFORMANCE ART: The Seattle Times calls her “painfully funny and demented,” and now you can experience Dina Martina‘s “tragic singing and horrible dancing,” live at The Howard Theatre. 8 p.m. $25-30
