Police are searching for a woman who they say pretended to be a Target employee and swiped $40,000 worth of iPhones.

In order to get inside of a stock room, the unidentified woman “portrayed herself as an employee” of the Target store at 6600 Richmond Highway on March 15, according to a release from the Fairfax County Police Department. Once inside the room, police say she put the phones in a box, then left the building.

The woman has no association with the store, according to police, “but appeared to have knowledge of the store’s procedures, employee hours, and the location of the iPhones in the stockroom.”

She was also caught by a surveillance camera pushing around one of the store’s carts. If anyone has information regarding the case, police have several ways to reach out.
