For the second weekend in a row, SafeTrack is the only scheduled cause for Metrorail delays this Saturday and Sunday. Riders catching the Red, Orange, Silver, and Green Lines can expect trains to run at regular weekend intervals.

SafeTrack Surge 13 is creating single tracking and 24 minute wait times on the Blue Line between Franconia-Springfield and Largo Town Center and on the Yellow Line between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square. Essentially, the decrease in service is largely restricted to the southern portion of the system, including access to National Airport.

The surge runs through April 12.
