The Secret Service arrested a woman on July 4th for attempting to scale the White House fence, the second year in a row she tried to breach the residence’s security, according to NBC4.

Alicia Keppler scaled a bike rack security barrier and ran along the south fence before she was taken down by a Secret Service officer on Tuesday morning. Exactly one year earlier, also on Independence Day, Keppler tried to gain entry along the east side of 17th Street NW, NBC4 reports. A South Carolina resident, Keppler has been involved in at least two other incidents involving White House security.

The Secret Service has struggled with a rash of fence jumpers in recent years to little avail. In March, for example, there were at least four incidents—including one that ended with a woman dangling by her shoelaces.

A permanent plan for a significantly taller fence cleared the final regulatory hurdle in February. The new structure will be 11 feet, seven inches, including “pencil point” anti-climb fixtures at the top. The U.S. Secret Service and National Park Service plan to start construction next year.
