Mondays, amirite?
The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings for the D.C.-area from 9 a.m. through 10 p.m. this evening, amid forecasts for heavy rain throughout the day with averages of 1-1.5 inches of rain.
The highest likelihood for flash flooding is east of the I-95 corridor, per NWS.
If you make it through today, though, you’ll be rewarded with a temperate week: highs in the low 80’s and lows in the low 60’s through Thursday.
