Montgomery County police have arrested a 33-year-old man who they say sexually assaulted two women who he met on Tinder.

Rockville resident Colin Sime Black, a high school guidance counselor, was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual offense and one count of second-degree assault, according to an MCPD release.

Police began investigating Black in March, when a woman reported that he assaulted her after they met on Tinder. She linked up with him through the app, went to his apartment, and engaged in consensual sex, according to police. She said he then committed additional acts without her consent.

Officials say that another woman, who does not know the previous victim and had no knowledge of her case, came forward in September. She told police that during their second in-person encounter on New Year’s Eve in 2016, she engaged in consensual sex with Black, before he then he committed sexual acts without her consent.

He was arrested for both alleged incidents on Thursday.

Police are asking that anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Black to call 240-773-5400.
