With Christmas less than a month away, some already have their Christmas tree up, wreaths hung, and gifts bought. But if you haven’t already, yhere are plenty of lots in the District selling real trees.
Dan and Bryan Christmas Trees
3810 Massachusetts Ave NW. Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.. Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
If you want a Christmas tree lot with a rich history, Dan and Bryan Christmas Trees is your place. Originally known as Sundback Trees, the tree lot has been around since the 60’s and has sold trees to Senator Edward Kennedy to first lady Barbara Bush. In 2009, the lot was responsible for providing the White House Christmas Tree. Dan and Bryan offers trees of all sizes, stands, wreaths, and will tie and rope the tree to you car. Should the selection not be to your liking, the site notes, “if you want a larger tree, please ask.”
DC Tree Delivery

If you really can’t find the time to buy and transport a Christmas tree yourself, considering ordering from DC Tree Delivery. Starting at $115, you can get a tree delivered to your home, along with a tree stand. And for at least an extra $45, get your tree taken out of your home after the holidays. The company also offers to set up your tree for an additional fee.
Agora Farms at Eastern Market

Head to the Eastern Market at Agora Farms, while also taking a look at other holiday festivities the market has to offer, including jewelry, trinkets, and art. Then you can cross tree shopping and gift shopping off your to-do list.

In addition to trees, this garden center is offering plenty of ways to get in the spirit, including tinsel, wreaths, lights, ornaments, and more.
Home Depot
901 Rhode Island Ave NE. Monday-Saturday 6 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Make a pit stop at Home Depot to grab your Christmas tree and other holiday decor. The home improvement store will also ship a real tree for free.
North Star Christmas Trees
2604 East West Highway, Chevy Chase. Monday-Friday 12 p.m.-10 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m-10 p.m.
Another Christmas tree lot with a rich history, North Star Christmas Trees in Chevy Chase has been around for more than 50 years. According to the lot’s site, its become the largest independent Christmas tree retailer and wholesaler in the D.C. area selling trees, wreaths, greenery, stands, and more.
Olde City Farm and Garden
925 Rhode Island Ave NW. Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Snag a tree and other plants and greens at the Olde City Farm and Garden. Plan to do your browsing on December 2, when the farm hosts a holiday market with decorations and gifts for sale.
The Georgetown Christmas Tree Farm
3100 South Street NW. Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Celebrate the holidays in luxury at the Georgetown Christmas Tree Farm at the Ritz-Carlton. The hotel will be offering Balsam and Canaan Fir trees. Attendees can expect complimentary valet parking, hot chocolate and apple cider, and tree loading assistance.
Wunder Garten
1101 First St NE. Friday 4 p.m.-8 p.m., Saturday 12 p.m.-8 p.m., Sunday 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
Grab a beer and grab a tree: Wunder Garten will be hosting a tree lot as part of its three-weekend Winterfest celebration, which kicks off Friday. The beer garden’s events include a fire performance from Eva Mystique (Nov. 30), a Santa photo session, and an Ugly Sweater Party (both Dec. 8).
The Salt Line
79 Potomac Ave SE. Monday-Friday 4 p.m.-8 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
Want to do some good over the holidays? At The Salt Line, all proceeds of Christmas tree sales will go to the D.C. Firefighters Burn Foundation. The restaurant will offer fresh cut Fraser Firs and Douglas Firs, as well as stands, wreaths, garlands, and ornaments.
