Wimbledon served on a platter

Watch the Sunday men’s Wimbledon final from the luxe Fairmont Washington, D.C., which will convert its Juniper Courtyard into a proper garden party serving up English cuisine. The feast offers finger sandwiches, fish and chips, berry trifle, and even a station for strawberries and cream, the traditional dish served at the All England Club. Bring a tennis racket to practice groundstrokes nearby on a mini tennis court, and don’t forget to wear green, purple or white to qualify for prizes for best garden party and tennis outfits—green and purple are the club’s official colors. Ping pong gets the Wimbledon treatment

Can’t make it to the All England Club? Sport your crisp tennis whites Friday at the Spinbledon White Party, SPIN DC’s take on tennis’ most famous fortnight. The ping pong social club will feature two cocktails ($8) inspired by merry old England: the Spinbledon Cup (Pimm’s, vodka, Sprite, mint and fresh fruit), and the Spinbledon Smash (prosecco, vodka, peach syrup, lemon juice and mint). You’ll even get to play ping pong on an Astroturf installation resembling Wimbledon’s lush grass courts. Wear white to score happy hour deals. Whole lotta Piña Colada

It’s all about the famous summery cocktail Wednesday when the Colada Shop’s D.C. location launches its 3rd annual Piña Colada Festival with a rooftop party. Expect a variety of piña coladas, including the classic, Matcha Mint (rum, matcha, mint, coconut cream and coconut milk), and La Negra Tiene Tumbao (rum, fernet, pineapple, coconut milk, and coconut cream). Pair them with complimentary pineapple-themed snacks, like plantain chips with pineapple salsa and pineapple-coconut empanadas. Can’t get there Wednesday? Calling all old-school hip-hop heads, sneakerheads

Come through the Union District Oyster Bar & Lounge on Thursday for the grand opening of the Hip-Hop Museum Pop-Up Experience, a five-week exhibit displaying an enormous collection of hip-hop artifacts and memorabilia (the collection belongs to D.C. native Dave Mays, founder of the Source magazine). Enjoy daily hip-hop happy hour specials throughout the exhibit’s run, like Tupac’s Thai Chili Jerk Wings, Salt-N-Pepa’s Seafood Mac & Cheese, and cocktails mixed with Hennessy. Meanwhile, the grand opening honors legendary sneakerhead and DJ Clark Kent, so stay for a podcast and panel discussion on the symbiotic relationship between hip-hop and sneakers, and the party afterwards. Celebrate Bastille Day at Le Diplomate’s Le Grand Fête celebration Sunday where you’ll eat from a special Bastille Day Café menu. Look forward to nibbling on baguette pate, curry chicken with raisins and grapes, smoked salmon and more. Now through August 6, The Graham’s rooftop is serving up themed cocktails every week that play off of the nearby Sunset Cinema outdoor movie series in Georgetown. Support the D.C. Brewers’ Guild Sunday when Atlas Brew Works holds D.C. Brewers Day. Where’s the beef?

No Kings Creative and MGM Roast Beef are each celebrating their 10th year in D.C., and they’re releasing their joint “No Kings Reuben” sandwich to commemorate the occasion on Saturday.
