The Green Line is running every 20 minutes this weekend according to the transit agency.

You’re technically not supposed to run on Metro’s soon-to-be slip resistant tiles, but if you’re taking the Green Line this weekend, it might just be worth it to avoid waiting 20 minutes for the next one. Yep, just like last weekend, the Green line will be running every 20 minutes, along with single-tracking between Mt Vernon Sq. and U Street.

The Red Line is looking a bit better, with trains running every 15 minutes, and additional trains running every 7-8 minutes between Shady Grove and Rhode Island Ave from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The trains will also be single-tracking between Fort Totten and Takoma.

The Orange and Silver lines are running smoothly, with single tracking between Addison Rd. and Morgan Boulevard on the latter. And of course, the Blue and Yellow lines are still partially shut down, with every station south of National Airport currently undergoing platform construction. (That shutdown has made traffic slower and led more people to turn to biking in Alexandria so far.)
