Track work will see one station closed this weekend on the Silver Line, single tracking on the Red Line, and long headways on the western end of the Orange Line. Here’s what you need to know to get around:

The Wiehle-Reston East stop will be closed on the Silver Line. Buses will be available to replace trains to and from the Spring Hill station.

Metro will continue cable installation work on the Red Line, resulting in single tracking between Friendship Heights and Medical Center stations. Trains will run every 16 minutes, and extra trains will arrive every eight minutes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

On the Orange Line, trains heading between West Falls Church and New Carrollton station will run every 12-15 minutes. Between Vienna and West Falls Church stations, trains will run every 24 minutes on Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sunday.

Blue, Yellow, and Green lines will have regular service this weekend.
