As D.C., Maryland, and Virginia settle in for a socially distant spring, many are preparing to celebrate religious holidays separated from family or community. Ahead of Easter on April 12, and Passover, which runs April 8-16, local religious institutions are working overtime to prepare guides to observing at home, or to stream services from empty houses of worship.

Restaurants are responding, too, adding special Passover and Easter feasts to their growing menus of delivery and takeout options. Here’s where to find meals for the holidays.

Albi
1346 4th St. SE

The Mediterranean fine dining restaurant is throwing a Levantine Easter feast and serving it to-go. The expansive menu includes small plates (think whipped labne, grilled asparagus, and smoked trout spread), meat and fish entrees (grilled octopus, lamb shoulder, and za’atar chicken) sides (rice pilaf and stuffed grape leaves), and desserts (honey-walnut custard or tahini chocolate cookies). Place orders by phone (202-921-9592) or email (yalla@albidc.com) for pickup on Sunday.
