ECHOSTAGE: A District club was just voted the world’s Number 1 club in DJ Mag… and what better way to celebrate than with a dance party and concert this weekend? On Friday, head to Echostage to catch Cash Cash — the trio know for their dance-pop original tracks and energetic remixes. (Echostage; 9 p.m.; $35+)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY: On Friday, Exiles Bar on 16th Street NW is marking its fifth anniversary with a fundraiser for the resettlement of Afghan people and families in our region. The event is held in partnership with Lutheran Social Services and donations will be accepted via cash and Venmo. (Exiles Bar; 3 p.m.-9 p.m.)

ALI WONG: Kick off your weekend by attending the Friday performance of Ali Wong’s Milk and Money tour.  The stand-up comedian is gracing the District with a series of live comedy shows Thursday through Saturday. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test (within 48 hours of the show) is required for entry. (Warner Theatre; 8 p.m.; $99.50+)

CANNABIS FEST: Learn what all the buzz is about by spending your Saturday at RFK Stadium for the National Cannabis Festival 2021. The event starts at high noon (not joking) and the joint affair includes events themed around wellness, policy, culture, and more. The event comes on the heels of new initiatives aiming to incorporate racial justice into the region’s marijuana legalization. (RFK Campus; 12 p.m.; $65+)

DUPONT POP-UP: Support small and local businesses this weekend by attending the latest Dupont pop-up market. The outdoor event will feature more than 50 vendors along the sidewalks on P street and Connecticut Avenue. The event is being organized by Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets with support from the Department of Local and Small Business Development. Expect to see art, jewelry, pottery, and more items. (Dupont Circle; 12 p.m.-6 p.m.; FREE)

FAMILY DAY: Saturday is Living Earth Family Day at the National Museum of the American Indian, and they’re throwing a virtual celebration. Join the museum for a series of virtual events dedicated to Indigenous food and plants, and create crafts based on sunflowers, strawberries, and corn. Can’t make it there when it airs? OPERA IN THE OUTFIELD: There’s music in the ballpark. On Saturday, the Washington National Opera is headed to Nationals Park where they are hosting a streamed performance of  Rossini’s Cinderella. ART FUNDRAISER: On Sunday, plan to visit the Midlands beer garden for a Summer’s End Art Sale Fundraiser. The event will feature local artists from across the District. A portion of all proceeds will go towards LightHouse DC, the organization that helps unhoused D.C. residents transition into furnished new homes. (The Midlands; 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; FREE)

SILVER SPRING SUMMER: Close out your weekend at the Silver Spring Arts & Crafts End of Summer Celebration.
