Red Line train headed toward Shady Grove.

Both the weather and Metro’s train times are looking better this weekend than last.

Besides the extensive shut down of the Yellow Line and the (now-extended) closure of several stations on the Blue Line, riders can expect few disruptions — at least any planned ones. (No single tracking!) Red Line trains, instead of running every 15 minutes, will be running every 10 — an improvement from last weekend.

Here’s more from Metro:

Red Line

  • Trains run every 10 minutes

Orange/Silver Line

  • Trains run every 15 minutes

Blue Line

  • Trains will run every 15 minutes between National Airport and New Carrollton/Largo Town Center
  • The Franconia-Springfield, Van Dorn Street, King St-Old Town, and Braddock Road stations are closed. Service will be replaced with shuttle buses.
  • Due to the Army Ten-Miler race, Pentagon Station will be closed on Sunday from opening (7 a.m.) until 8 a.m.

Yellow Line

  • There is no Yellow Line service until 2023. Riders should use the Green or Blue lines.
  • Express shuttle service will run between Huntington and Pentagon City every six minutes.
  • A local shuttle will run between the Huntington, Eisenhower Avenue, King St-Old Town, Braddock Road, and Crystal City stations every 10-15 minutes. This shuttle will not stop at the airport, so those traveling between National Airport and Greenbelt should use the Blue or Green line.

Green Line

  • Trains run every 8 minutes.
