ALI WONG: Stand-up comedian, writer, and actress Ali Wong is coming to DC. Wong, who was recently named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2023, will be performing six shows starting Monday. (Kennedy Center; 8 p.m. $99.75+).

PROFS AND PINTS: The NBA is popularly known as a Black league, but it wasn’t always that way. Head to Profs and Pints to hear Theresa Rundstedtler, an associate professor in the departments of history and of critical race, gender, and culture studies at American University, discusses the transformation of the basketball league. SUNSET YOGA: Because of an earlier rainy Tuesday, Radiance Basden’s yoga serieshas been extended. This week’s lesson will include co-instructor Stephanie Lutfi, and will teach participants how to incorporate breathing exercises, beginner-friendly yoga sequences, and intentionally paced movements to enhance alignment, strength, and balance. SUSHI ROLLING: As part of the Hill Center’s Kitchen 101 series, Chef Wendi James will be leading a sushi-making class.
