OUT OF THE VINEYARD: The latest play by local playwright Psalmayene 24, Out of the Vineyard, features perspectives of people connected to the history of freedom suits in Prince George’s County and descendants of enslaved families. The play, based on a book detailing those lawsuits, is directed and choreographed by Tony Thomas. (Joe’s Movement Emporium; 7:30 p.m.; $40)

RULES FOR WHISTLEBLOWERS: Rules for Whistleblowers is Stephen M. Kohn’s seventh book on the topic and is a fully updated and expanded revision of The Whistleblower’s Handbook — the first guide to exposing workplace wrongs. He discusses the book with Siri Nelson, the executive director at the National Whistleblower Center. (Busboys and Poets 14th Street, 6 p.m.; FREE)

YOGA IN THE GALLERIES: Start the week off centered and collected and go to a yoga session at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Arlington. UKRAINIAN PLAYS: The Alliance for New Music-Theatre and the Center for International Theatre Development will present six works written by Ukrainian playwrights in 2022. TRANS ORAL HISTORIES: Learn about the empowering stories of trans people in an evening of live trans oral histories at As You Are.
