DCist’s January Theater Preview
The DC theater community is starting the year off right with…no more productions of A Christmas Carol. Seriously, there’s plenty to like in January, from gutsy works to brand-new musicals. The Neo-Futurists (pictured) are back! Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind, which our critic Chris Klimek loved, makes a return engagement at Woolly Mammoth (Jan. 4). Stick ’em up! Actors’ Theater of Washington has the camp-tastic Fatal Attraction: A Greek Tragedy, which will serve as a late-night follow-up to its current production,…

The Hot Ticket
The fall lineups are filling in, and it’s looking like a nice autumnal concert season for indie fans, all kicked off by the perfectly free Operation: Ceasefire mass gig on the mall September 24th. Sadly, most of the other highlights require tickets, and it falls to DCist to bring you the hottest of the hott. Watch D.C.’s own (for the moment) Bob Mould, sometime Blowoff DJ and indie rock icon, as he returns to the…
