The Sunday Morning Post
Good morning, Washington. At 2:00 am, Daylight Saving Time ended, Standard Time began, and we were granted an extra hour of cherished sleep. The bi-annual shift is much less tedious now that so many devices that keep the time are automated. Still, some people detest what they see as an antiquated ritual.

Ospreys, Nature Conquer DDOT, National Park Service
The AP is reporting on a slight bump that has delayed the National Park Service and the District Department of Transportation from finishing a bridge along Washington’s Anacostia Riverwalk. Officials say a pair of ospreys have built a nest and are incubating eggs on top of a construction crane. The new home, which DDOT jokes as having “unobstructed river views and cheap rent in DC” will stop workers from using the crane, that is until the next is abandoned at the end of the nesting season.
DDOT has uploaded a Flickr gallery featuring the the love birds and their future chicks-to-be.
