The once-a-year summer meteor shower is reaching its zenith, and we’re in for a cosmic spectacle… weather permitting.

It is active from July 13-August 26, but hits a peak August 12-13.
Dust from the 209/LINEAR comet will create the Camelopardalid meteor shower, which NASA says could feature more than 200 meteors per hour.
Tonight’s moon will be the third full moon this summer, qualifying it as a “Blue Moon.”
It’s no Super Moon, but it’s still pretty damn cool.
