Causes of Inauguration Jumbotron-Gate Remain Unknown
No one is yet totally sure what caused a Jumbotron by the Washington Monument to go on the fritz during President Obama’s inaugural speech last week.
Joe Paterno, the winningest coach in college football history, has died at 85, his family announced this morning. The Washington Post has released audio excerpts of its interview with Paterno in the Penn State legend’s only public comments since his dismissal in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.
Look, if you haven’t yet taken a couple of minutes to listen to the newly released recordings of former Prince George’s County Executive Jack Johnson and his wife, former county councilmember Leslie Johnson, talking on the phone in the minutes before federal agents busted down their door and took them into custody on bribery-related charges, we’re going to go ahead and recommend that you do that now.
