America, or at least the America for which the live video stream actually loaded, got the debate it wanted last night when Bill O’Reilly and Jon Stewart dissected the issues and each other at George Washington University.

Forget President Obama and Mitt Romney. Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly will debate the issues of the day on October 6 at the Lisner Auditorium at George Washington University.

Good morning, Washington. U.S. Park Police have released the name of a man they want to speak with in connection with the gunshots reported near the White House Friday night. Investigators are trying to track down 21-year-old Oscar Ramiro Ortega.

I suppose it’s only fair that since we highlighted Mayor Vince Gray’s appearance on CNN yesterday, we should also share his interview on The O’Reilly Factor last night. Gray handled himself pretty well — at least as well as any prominent liberal politician can possibly handle themselves on the show — as Bill O’Reilly, who called D.C. “kind of like a city-state they used to have in Greece,” prodded him with questions about statehood and the congressional budget deal.

Former Mayor and current Ward 8 Council member Marion Barry apparently called up The O’Reilly Factor and asked to be a guest on the conservative talk show last night, and we’ve posted the video above.
