Legendary local jazz musician Butch Warren has passed away.

The City Paper’s Michael J. West reports that Butch Warren, the well-respected but erratic bassist who since 2007 has held the Wednesday night spot in Adams Morgan’s Columbia Station has been fired from his gig.
