At long last, Sinclair Skinner’s animated history of Adrian Fenty has reached its denouement. In the last chapter, set the morning after his September 2010 loss to Vince Gray, Fenty sounds like a giant robot.

Is this the beginning of the Adrian Fenty comeback? Not sure, but either way, the former mayor’s old pal Sinclair Skinner is back promoting Fenty. Oh, sure, in the past Skinner’s Fenty hype has included some epic press releases, public statements and campaign tricks, but this is different. Cartoons.

I’m not sure if this is technically a new character (Mr. District?) or if Davy DCist has just morphed into something resembling the shape of our fair city, but regardless, I’m now digging through my closet to see if I have my own pitchfork. A reader sent us these two photos the other day, taken at 14th and Columbia Road NW late Saturday night. A pair of police officers appear to have been watching Family Guy via Hulu.com on the squad car’s computer. They had paused the video to enter a nearby store when the photo was taken. Now hopefully these officers were on a break or off-duty. And we guess it’s good they weren’t watching World’s Wildest Police…
