The residents’ union at Children’s National want to see increased pay, patient caps, and a mental health program in their renewed contract.

The organizers who scuttled the demonstration “hope to hold our peaceful march in a few weeks’ time.”

A third of the demonstration hot spot will be closed for renovations and repairs through the end of the year.

They finally made it down around 10:05 a.m. and were arrested by D.C. police.

The Insane Clown Posse and its fans are fighting against the FBI’s classification of them as a “loosely-affiliated gang.”

They’re outside the legislative office of the National Fraternal Order of Police.

Several groups will demonstrating on Thursday outside of Trump’s forthcoming hotel at the Old Post Office.

UPDATE (12:10 p.m.): Via Twitter, Occupy DC’s media team states that their march will not conflict with the afternoon rush, despite it being scheduled to last until 6 p.m. Meanwhile, a group called Our DC which is participating in a demonstration on the bridge itself says that protesters will be “staying on the pedestrian sidewalk” and that there will be “No blocking traffic!”

“It’s a beautiful day!” reads the latest communique from that bunch of fringe extremists down at Occupy DC, who, in the same terrifying message, note that they’ll be holding a public barbecue at 2:30 in McPherson Square.
