Power Outages Affecting NW D.C., NoVa

A number of power outages could make commutes home Tuesday evening fairly dicey. Pepco was reporting a pair of outages in Northwest D.C., one centered around Wisconsin Ave. and another closer to North Capitol Street. Over 3,000 customers are said to be affected. Pepco expects to have the power back on sometime this evening, and DDOT says that the traffic signals on North Capitol Street were back up and working as of 5 p.m. And…
