At least one D.C. hotel is keeping its pandemic-related cutbacks on housekeeping, impacting workers’ wages and benefits.
Live music is out. Staycations are in. One hotel’s going-out-of-business sale attracts people who are thriving — or just surviving — in the pandemic.
The lawsuit alleges that Marriott International, Inc has misled tens of thousands of D.C. consumers about the prices of their hotel rooms.
The brand’s plans include a coworking space adjacent to the hotel known as Eaton House, a spa, cinema, and eventually an artist residency program.
“The uniformity that was once hallmark of a brand now has become a negative. People want surprises and experiences.”
According to the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund, Trump’s organization may have been granted access that could restrict free speech activities.
