The region’s ice rinks are open for business once again.

The Lincoln Memorial’s Reflecting Pool was once a popular destination for ice-skaters, and in the mid-1960s a senior U.S. official proposed turning it into a rink for the winter months.

Grab a hot chocolate and head to a rink near you.

The Canal Park ice rink is also delayed.

But the National Gallery of Art’s rink is open.

In D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia.

The ice rinks at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden and Washington Harbour will open next Friday.
